All About Me

At an early age, I knew that my path in life was to become a therapist who could support children and families. This goal has driven both my education and clinical experiences over the past decade. Over the years, I have worked in clinics serving children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, substance misuse, trauma, ADHD, parenting challenges, and life transitions. My experiences have shaped who I am as an individual and has directly impacted my therapeutic style. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

My Philosophy

My intake process focuses on developing an understanding of what makes each client who they are. I believe each individual is an expert in her or his own life and therefore I encourage my clients to share their story, current challenges, and hopes for therapeutic work. Together, with the individual’s and/or family's expertise and my therapeutic experience, we will work together to identify what progress may look like and work towards achieving those goals.
